Jackie Navarro and Kimberly Wright run this incredible organization that rescues wild animals. Their education programs promote conservation and introduce hundreds of people to a variety of species from around the world like the cute binturong in the photo. Known also as a bearcat, binturongs are in the family verridae; they are native to South and Southeast Asia.

The Jane Goodall Institute
Jane Goodall epitomizes conservation. Her work with chimpanzees has been an inspiration to so many, and Rosie was lucky enough to work with her briefly in the early 90s. Roots & Shoots is a wonderful program that engages children around the world in conservation.
