Born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Rosie Emery was raised in Scotland and England. She is an Emmy-Award winning writer and producer as well as an accomplished singer/songwriter and performer, who has written and produced four children’s music CD and toured extensively throughout North America with her musical concerts and programs for children.
 
Pursuit of the Golden Lily is her first novel, inspired by her father’s WWII diary, written while he was a POW of the Japanese on the River Khwae, in Thailand.
